    En este artículo, la doctora Tania De León Yong analiza las características de la animación limitada frente a la animación completa, y las de la animación experimental frente a la animación ortodoxa: esto es, qué cualidades tiene la imagen animada y cuántos fotogramas por segundo se utilizan. De la misma forma se comparan los distintos propósitos que pueden tener los filmes. Sin pretender ser un marco de referencia inflexible, la clasificación de la animación es importante porque nos permite reflexionar, identificar, agrupar y analizar animaciones ajenas y personales; estas actividades son un terreno fértil para la producción creativa dentro de la disciplina.

    In this paper, PhD Tania de León Yong introduces the characteristics of limited animation compared to full animation, and experimental animation set side by side to orthodox animation: this means, which are the peculiarities of the animated image, and how many frames per second are used? In the same way, the different purposes of films will be compared. Without the intention to be inflexible, the classifying of animation is important because it allow us to think over, to identify, to group and to analyze other’s productions and personal work. These activities constitute a fertile ground for creative productions.
