El alcance moral de la Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos es innegable. Nos invita a mirar a los seres humanos como receptores o beneficiarios de algo que les es debido. Pero la filosofía moral contemporánea aún está implicada en la tarea de encontrar una fundamentación universalmente aceptada por las distintas tradiciones.
The moral significance of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is undeniable. This Declaration invites us to consider human beings as receivers or beneficiaries of something which is owed to them. Nevertheless, contemporary moral philosophy is still involved in the task of reaching a foundation of that Declaration which could be accepted and endorsed by different traditions.
