El presente artículo describe la elevación de la celebración litúrgica de María Magdalena del grado de memoria al grado de fiesta, señalando los rasgos de su vida que han sido recogidos en el nuevo prefacio propuesto para la misa de la santa.

This article describes the raising of the liturgical celebration of Mary Magdalene from the rank of memory to the rank of feast. The author points out also the features of her life that have been collected in the new preface proposed for the mass on the feast in honour of the Magdalene.
