    La Guerra Civil española sigue siendo un hito recurrente en el imaginario colectivo y ha sido frecuentemente utilizada para debatir temas del presente. La televisión, desde la Transición política, ha ejercido un importante papel como agente de memoria. Sin embargo, en las dos últimas décadas se ha detectado un descenso del número de ficciones televisivas ubicadas en este período (1936-1939).

    Esta investigación se centra en el análisis de la representación de la guerra española en tres ficciones emitidas por canales generalistas en el siglo XXI: Temps de silenci (TVE-1, 2001), Amar en tiempos revueltos (TVE-1, 2005) –basada en la anterior–, y Plaza de España (TVE-1, 2011). Las tres están directamente vinculadas a unas coordenadas espacio-temporales desde las que se ofrece una mirada al pasado en clave de presente. Las dos primeras lo hacen en formato de telenovela (bajo una idiosincrasia muy particular) y en ellas la guerra es tan sólo referenciada para hablar de la posguerra, mientras que en la tercera, se propone una visión cómica, distanciada y despolitizada.

    The Spanish Civil War remains a recurring subject in the collective imagination and has been frequently used for discussion of issues of the present. Television, since the political transition, has had an important role as an agent of memory. However, in the last two decades it has been detected a decline in the number of television fiction located in this period (1936-1939).

    This research focuses on the analysis of the representation of the Spanish Civil War in three fictions issued by generalist channels in the XXI century: Temps de silenci (TVE-1, 2001), Amar en tiempos revueltos (TVE-1, 2005), based on the first one, and Plaza de España (TVE-1, 2011). The three of them are directly linked to a space-time coordinates to offer a look to the past from the present time. The first two are “soap opera” formats (under a peculiar idiosyncrasy), and the war is only referenced to talk about the post-war, while the third one proposes a comic vision, distanced and depoliticized.
