Resumen de Análisis comparativo del rendimiento estudiantil entre el régimen trimestral y anual en la Facultad de Odontología de la U.C.V

El propósito de esta investigación consistió en realizar un estudio comparativo del rendimiento estudiantil de los alumnos aprobados, a través de un análisis transversal de los indicadores que influyen sobre él, entre el régimen anual y el trimestral, en las materias equivalentes, de la Facultad de Odontología de la U.C.V. El rendimiento estudiantil fue significativamente superior en los alumnos del régimen anual en primer y segundo año estudiado, en comparación con los estudiantes que cursaron las materias equivalentes durante el sistema trimestral. Se encontró que los resultados obtenidos, en relación con los datos personales, aspectos académicos preuniversitarios, universitarios y aspectos socio-económicos coincidieron en muchos aspectos en ambas poblaciones.

The purpose of this investigation consisted of accomplishing a comparative study of the student yield of the approved pupils, through a transverse analysis of the indicators that influence on him, between the annual regime and the quarterly, the equivalent matters, of the Dentistry Faculty of the U.C.V. The student yield was significantly superior in the pupils of the annual regime in first and second studied year, in comparison with the students that studied the equivalent matters during the quarterly system. It was found that the obtained results, in relationship to the personal data, academic aspects preuniversity, university and socio-economic aspects agreed many aspects in both populations.
