La edición de los "Opera Omnia" de Juan Luis Vives supuso un hito dentro del mercado editorial de la España del siglo XVIII. Gregorio Mayans fue uno de los más importantes impulsores del conocimiento de los grandes clásicos españoles. En este artículo se explica cómo se fraguó y realizó su edición de las obras completas de Vives que todavía hoy siguen siendo un referente de la bibliografía del humanista español

The edition of the "Opera Omnia" by Juan Luis Vives was a milestone in the publishing market of eighteenth -century Spain. Gregorio Mayans was one of the most important instigators of this knowledge about the great Spanish classics. This article explains how the edition of the complete works of Vives (which still remains a benchmark in the bibliography about the Spanish humanist) was produced .
