En este trabajo pretendemos esbozar unas notas acerca, primeramente, de la toponimia guipuzcoana en las fuentes antiguas y, seguidamente, sobre nombres de lugar relacionados con la presencia romana en el territorio y en puntos próximos, a la que Mitxelena se refirió en más de una ocasión, sobre todo en su artículo «Guipúzcoa en la época romana» (BAP 12, 1956, 69-94).

We pretend to outline some notes in this work, firstly, of the Guipuzcoan toponymy in the ancient sources and, inmediately afterwords,about names of place related to the Roman presence in the territory and close points, to which Michelena referred more than once, above all in his article «Guipúzcoa en la época romana» (BAP 12, 1956, 69-94).
