La actualización empresarial, no ha sido ajena en el contexto cubano, donde se han importado un sin número de terminologías socio jurídicas; en relación a la protección jurídica de las Invenciones laborales, generando transformaciones en el orden estructural jurídico cubano en el orden de la protección legal de las mismas dentro de la formalización de la Relación Jurídica Laboral a raíz del nuevo Código de Trabajo “Ley No. 116 de 2014”. Para los cuales el actual Sistema de Patentes no logra definir, dejando varios aspectos que merecen ser regulados y los que en la actualidad dan lugar a múltiples interrogantes por parte de los inventores y de los empleadores, estos últimos carentes de cultura empresarial sobre el tema.
