El movimiento es un concepto constante en la creación de gran parte del siglo XX hasta la actualidad. El arte cinético ofrece una respuesta múltiple a la necesaria investigación que el arte contemporáneo realiza sobre los elementos comunes en la vida del ser humano: tiempo, espacio, acción, naturaleza, herramientas tecnológicas. La obra de arte sólo es a través del movimiento, habiéndose liberado del estatismo desde el punto de vista físico y conceptual, que ha hecho de la tecnología su herramienta más eficaz.

Movement is a continual concept in the art produced in the most part of the twentieth century until now. Kinetic art offers a wide range of responses to the necessary research that contemporary art takes on ordinary elements in human life: time, space, action, nature, technology. The artwork is only through movement, once it has liberated from motionlessness both physically and conceptually, that makes technology its most effective too
