    El presente trabajo profundizó en la construcción de la familia y el papel de la Educación Superior como agente formador del joven en el proyecto de vida, desde apreciaciones de los estudiantes. Su objetivo: Determinar el papel del proceso de formación del profesional en la preparación del joven para construir su familia propia, desde las perspectivas de los Revista Avances Vol. 17 (1), ene.- marzo, 2015 36 estudiantes, que permita la propuesta de un Gabinete de Intervención Psicosocial en la Universidad de Pinar del Río. Los métodos teóricos: General Dialéctico; Histórico Lógico; Sistémico. Los empíricos: Observación; Entrevista; Encuesta; Grupo focal. Una muestra de 150 estudiantes de la modalidad presencial en la Facultad de Ciencias Sociales y Humanísticas. Los resultados denotaron que: No existen antecedentes en el territorio acerca del proceso de creación de la familia propia durante la formación universitaria; insuficiente preparación teórico-metodológica para afrontar el tema; Los estudiantes coincidieron en que no se les ha preparado en niveles de enseñanza precedente para este proceso, la información les llega mayoritariamente por padres y amigos, lo ubican entre los primeros lugares en su jerarquía motivacional. Se consideran metas a corto y mediano plazo, las estrategias para lograrlo son poco estructuradas, con pobres elaboraciones personales. El vínculo afectivo con estas metas es intenso y positivo. Le otorgaron alta relevancia al tema en su desempeño académico, expresaron su necesidad sentida de prepararse para ello durante su formación. Se propone un Gabinete de Intervención Psicosocial para la atención a temas de familia, pareja y desarrollo humano en la Universidad de Pinar del Río.

    This paper explores the construction phase of the family and the role of Higher Education as forming agent in this direction for the young university student on his life project viewed from the students´ perpectives. Its aim: To determine the role of the professional training process to prepare the young university student to build their own family from the students´ point of view or perspectives allowing the creation of a center for Psycosocial Intervention at the university of Pinar del Rio. The theoretical methods: General Dialectic; Historical Logic; Systemic-Structural. The empirical methods used: Observation, Interview, Survey, Focus Group. A sample of 150 students from the Daily Regular Course from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences from the University of Pinar del Rio. The main results imply that: There are no previous references on the territory about the process of the creation of the own family during the formation at the university; insufficient teroretical and methodological training to deal with the theme, there is a coincidence among the students in recognizing they haven´t received any previous organized or well structured preparation on the theme, on the preceding levels of education and the knowledge they have, has been acquire through parents and friends. It is placed among the first places on their motivational hierarchy and it´s an objective on their life project at medium or large time limit. The strategies for obtaining it are shown scarcely structured and the elaborations of contents are poorly rich, nevertheless the affective relation with this goal is very intense and positive and they give high level of importance on their academic performance for the repercussion of uncertainty, conflicts of this area on their general development, perceiving the need to prepare for it, during their training at this stage. The creation of a center for Psociosocial Intervention at the University of Pinar del Rio is suggested for the attention of families, couples and human Development.
