    El claro entendimiento del significado que el Patrimonio Histórico tiene en nuestras vidas nos llevará a trabajar adecuadamente en la valoración, difusión y protección del mismo. Sin esa reflexión, las acciones para su puesta en valor, serán actuaciones solitarias de una pequeña parte de la comunidad. El Patrimonio Histórico requiere de un acuerdo común para su salvaguarda, y éste no se alcanzará mientras no se cuente con el conocimiento adecuado para valorar su significado. Por eso la Educación es un factor clave en la búsqueda de ese objetivo. Mientras una parte de la población no encuentre sentido en hacer perdurar los vestigios del pasado, la labor de preservación el mismo, será inútil. La preservación del Patrimonio requiere continuidad y el trabajo de distintas generaciones. ¿Se puede avanzar sin saber de dónde se viene?, claro que sí, pero con los ojos vendados. Sólo el conocimiento del legado de la historia hace que la humanidad pueda construir un futuro con fundamento, partiendo de lo alcanzado hasta ese momento. El Patrimonio Histórico juega un papel clave para hacernos entender ese pasado, pues es tangible, objetivo y mesurable, y es ahí donde radica su valor, por ello su protección es vital para toda civilización.

    The clear understanding about the meaning of the Heritage in our lives take us to work properly in the valuation, dissemination and protection of this. Without such reflection, the actions for its protection, are solitary actions of a small part of the community. The Heritage requires a mutual agreement for safekeeping, and this will not be achieved while not count with the proper knowledge to assess their significance. So, the education is a key factor in the pursuit of that goal. While one part of the population does not find sense in the Heritage protection, the work on preserving this, will be useless. The Heritage Preservation requires continuity and the agreement of different generations.

    Can you move forward without knowing where you come?, oh yes, but blindfolded.

    Only knowledge about our history makes humanity advance to the future. The Heritage plays a key role to make us understand that past, because this is tangible, objective and measurable, and therein lies its value. Their protection is vital for any civilization.
