La presente comunicación versa sobre la intervención del argentarius en las subastas según la Lex Metalli Vipascensis capítulo I, en el cual se alude a la centesima argentariae stipulationis. En este trabajo analizamos las diversas interpretaciones que han surgido respecto a qué es la indicada centesima, así como la necesaria presencia del argentarius en las auctiones contempladas en la Lex Metalli.

This article deals with the intervention of the argentarius in the auctions according to the Lex Metalli Vipascensis chapter I, which refers to the centesima argentariae stipulationis. We analyze various interpretations that have emerged regarding what is the centesima Indicated, as well as the necessary presence of the argentarius in the auctiones referred to in the Lex Metalli.
