    Frida Kahlo está aún viva hoy a través de su pintura, porque las auténticas obras de arte no cambian, no envejecen, no mueren. Fue una mujer que en cierta medida encarnó los vicios y las virtudes de aquella época en que se reinventaban los valores mexicanos, el arte y el pensamiento de las culturas prehispánicas. Durante años libró una batalla contra el dolor y sufrimiento empleando las armas que mejor manejaba: el amor y el arte.

    Frida Kahlo is still alive today through her paintings since genuine works of art do not change, do not get old, do not die. She was a woman who, to a certain extent, incorporated the vices and virtues of that time in which Mexican values, that is, the art and thought of pre-Hispanic cultures, were recovered. During several years she engaged in a battle against pain and suffering, using the weapons that she best handled, love and art.
