    El Patrimonio vernáculo es aquel no realizado por arquitectos. Una obra anónima que recoge una tradición constructiva, un saber común, que conforma gracias a su integración en el entorno, un paisaje singular. Este tipo de patrimonio está en decadencia; entre otras causas, por la pérdida de sus funciones originales, quedando en manos del turismo su dinamización. Se están realizando rehabilitaciones cuyos criterios de intervención responden habitualmente más al imaginario del viajero y a su economía, que al espíritu y respeto por el patrimonio, bien por desconocimiento de usos y técnicas tradicionales o por la pérdida de la memoria histórica. La comunicación estudia la viabilidad de otras estrategias de recuperación que no sean únicamente las del turismo �prepotente�, intentando evitar las radicales transformaciones sociales, urbanas y paisajísticas que suele imponer

    The vernacular heritage is one not made by architects. An anonymous work which contains a building tradition, a common knowledge, that conforms by their integration into the environment a unique landscape.

    This heritage is in decline, among other things, by the loss of their original functions. Today, the revitalization of these architectures and landscapes is in the tourist hands. Now, to develop this industry, the local made rehabilitation which intervention criteria respond more to the imagination of travelers and its economy, than to the spirit and respect for the heritage, either through lack of use and traditional techniques or by the loss of historical memory. The paper studies the feasibility of alternative recovery strategies that are not only those of the "arrogant" tourism, trying to prevent the radical social, urban and landscape transformations often required
