Der Beitrag setzt sich kritisch mit den vier älteren Bauinschriften aus dem Asklepios-Heiligtum in Epidauros aus der ersten Hälfte des 4. Jh. v. Chr. (IG IV2 102, 103, 118 und 112) auseinander, die Sebastian Prignitz 2014 neu ediert hat. Vorgeschlagen wird eine neue Deutung des Vertragsschlusses und der Sicherung durch Bürgen.

About the older building contracts from Epidaurus. The article is dealing with the four earlier building inscriptions from the sanctuary of Asclepius in Epidaurus dated in the first half of the fourth century BCE (IG IV2 102, 103, 118 and 112) newly edited by Sebastian Prignitz in 2014. The author puts forward a new sight at concluding the contract and ensuring it through guarantors.
