    • The research group of conservation of historical centers and buildings patrimony of the University of Camagüey, today turned into Center of Studies, began from 1979 the research works of the patrimony of Camagüey, whose first task was the General Inventory. Immediately the contents were introduced in the teaching of undergraduate with the subject Theory of the Conservation, which would give to the students the knowledge to collaborate with the teachers - investigators, in this task.

      Last semester of Conservation is included for the fourth year of the specialization and from there the making of dissertation of grade of different topics of the Patrimony.

      From 1986 the first doctors begin to graduate and in 1996 to give the Master in Conservation. How have three principal components integrated into the teaching - educational process: class-research-labor teaching, related to this topic, it is the principal target of the present work.
