Resumen de Una nueva cratera de campana del Pintor de Lecce

Hace ya algunos años ingresó en nuestro museo una bellísima cratera de campana de figuras rojas apulia. El interés de su tema iconográfico y la posibilidad de identificar el pintor de tan singular vaso, nos han animado a realizar una breve presentación de esta pieza, y a darla a conocer a los especialistas en pintura de vasos griega, pues, a pesar de, o precisamente, a causa de su procedencia, aún permanece inédita.

An Apulian red figurad bell krater, of the Apulian plain style, dated to the second quart of the 4th. cent. B. C., recently donated to the Museo Arqueológico Nacional, is presented. The style of the figures and the scene composition has allowed this krater to be attributed to the Leece Painter. The contents of its scenes are studied within the context of the dionysiac religión in the south of Italy.
