• his paper details the first data of the presence of Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus (Skuse, 1894), in the Mancomunidad de l’Alacantí (Southeastern Spain). The implications of the establishment of the species in this region and control measures needed to apply are also briefly discussed in the text.
