  • The national flag of Ghana (see fig. 1) has three horizontal stripes: red (top), gold (middle), and green (bottom). A five-pointed black star (a regular pentagram) appears in the center of the gold stripe. The aspect ratio of the flag�the ratio of its height to width�is 2:3 and compares the hoist of a flag to its fly.
