La nueva presentación de la sala de Grecia da a conocer, a través de los vasos cerámicos, terracotas, bronces y esculturas, los aspectos más destacados de la cultura griega desde el siglo VIII al II a. C.: su historia, la construcción de la identidad, de género y étnica, sus instituciones y rituales, sociales y religiosos, sus logros artísticos, intelectuales y científicos, su imaginario mítico y poético. Palabras e imágenes griegas, vinculadas a los objetos, cotidianos o excepcionales, a sus funciones y a la vida para la que fueron creados, facilitan el tránsito hacia el pasado, un viaje a la cultura de la Grecia antigua.

The new presentation of the Greek Hall makes known, through ceramic vases, terracottas, bronzes and sculptures, the most prominent aspects of Ancient Greek culture from the VIII to the II centuries B.C.: its history, the creation of its ethnic and gender identity, its institutions, religious and social rituals, its artistic, intellectual and scientific achievements, its mythical and poetic imaginary. Greek words and images, connected to the objects, either exceptional or everyday ones, to their functions and the use for which they were created, facilitate the passage towards the past, a voyage to the world of the Ancient Greek culture.
