  En este periodo de modernización, los países se encuentran en constante cambio, progreso e transformación, fortaleciendosus capacidades técnicas y cognitivas para darle mayor valor agregado a la materia prima disponible. Por loanterior, el grado de desarrollo de un país se condicionado a la capacidad de generación de conocimiento, el recursohumano y el desarrollo de nuevas tecnologías. Las condiciones necesarias y suficientes para aumentar la productividaddel sector agropecuario y la promoción de la utilización de las fuentes no convencionales de energía (FNCE)están estipuladas en el marco regulatorio para el desarrollo rural y el uso de las Energías Renovables. Sin embargo,en muchos países son las redes de conocimiento las que permiten agrupar las capacidades humanas y tecnológicaspara tener la posibilidad de obtener más y mejores recursos. El presente artículo presenta la importancia y rolparticipativo que ha tenido la Red Internacional para la Promoción de la Investigación y Docencia en EnergizaciónRural para el desarrollo Agroindustrial Sostenible (PRIDERAS), en la promoción de la investigación en las distintasregiones del país que por medio de la formulación y ejecución de proyectos por parte de la comunidad académica einvestigativa han fortalecido el desarrollo del sector agroindustrial y FNCE presentes en Colombia.

  In this era of modernization, countries are in constant change, progress and transformation, strengthening their technical and cognitive skills to generate greater value to raw materials available. Therefore, the level of development of a country is limited to the generation of knowledge capacity, human resource training and development of new technologies. The necessary and adequate conditions to increase the competitiveness of agricultural production;

  and promoting the use of non-conventional energy sources are stipulated in the regulatory framework for rural development and use of renewable energies. However, in many countries are networks of knowledge which allow grouping the human and technology capacities to have the possibility to get more and better resources. This paper present the importance and participative rol of the International Network for the Promotion of Research and Teaching in rural Energization and Agroindustrial Sustainable Development (PRIDERAS), in the promotion of research in the different region in the country that that through the formulation and implementation of projects by the academic community and research have strengthened the development of agribusiness and FNCE present in Colombia
