  • This is the third article in a series on leadership coordinated by the American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) that highlights how nurses are leading change efforts in hospitals. It describes work done in conjunc-tion with the AONE's Care Innovation and Transformation initiative, which provides leadership development and educational opportunities to nurse managers and staff aimed at supporting nurses at the point of care in making changes to improve the quality and safety of patient care.
