Resumen de Productividad del Coastcross-1 bajo distintas frecuencias de corte

  Durante 1978 y 1979 se midió la productividad del Coastcross-1 en regadío bajo cuatro frecuencias de siega: tres, cuatro, cinco y seis semanas. Las producciones totales oscilaron entre 20 y 30 Tm MS/ha y las frecuencias de seis y cinco semanas fueron las que mayores producciones dieron.

  In the summer of 1977, a trial was established in south east Spain (Murcia) to study the seasonal yieids of Coastcross-l Bermudagrass as affected by cutting frecuency. Coastcross-l, an steril summer grass from Georgia, EE. UU. was harvested at intervals of 3, 4, 5 and 6 weeks during the growing season of 1978 and 1979 - The accumulative dry matter yieids ranged between 20 and 30 Tn D.MVha and the greatest seasonal yieids were obteined with the 5 and 6 week cutting intervals.
