  • * Duavee is a new estrogen drug used to treat menopausal hot flashes and prevent osteoporosis. It's the first drug that combines conjugated estrogen with an estrogen agonist–antagonist (bazedoxifene), which reduces the risk of endometrial hyperplasia.

    * Duavee carries the same risks with which other estrogens are associated.
