Resumen de Reflejos del pensamiento católico sobre el matrimonio en la prensa hispana de la Ilustración

  El presente trabajo pretende conocer cuál fue el modelo argumentado por la iglesia Católica con respecto al matrimonio hacia finales del siglo XVIII. Para ello, se van a utilizar algunos periódicos de finales de dicho siglo con el fin de observar las permanencias, cambios y adaptaciones del discurso eclesiástico. Todo ello para comprobar algunas ideas: 1) las posibles aportaciones e influencias del pensamiento ilustrado; 2) el acercamiento al proceso de creación e influencia de la opinión pública en el conjunto de la sociedad; 3) el conocimiento de los elementos utilizados para configurar la imagen del matrimonio: la cuestión referente a la intervención paterna, el elogio del matrimonio, la educación para el mismo y a la función que se le reservaba.

  The present work focuses on the model which was argued by the Catholic church on marriage to the late eighteenth century. To do this we will use some press from the late eighteenth century in order to observe the permanents, changes and adaptations of ecclesiastical discourse. All this to test some ideas: 1) the possible contributions and influences of Enlightenment thinking, 2) the approach to the creative process and influence of public opinion on the whole society, 3) the knowledge of the elements used to set the image of marriage: the question regarding parental involvement, the praise of marriage, the education for the same and the role it was reserved.
