    El artículo estudia un importante documento inédito, como es el memorial de actos del notario Joan Abat de Zaragoza entre los años 1493 y 1510, conservado en el Archivo Histórico de Protocolos Notariales de Zaragoza, permitiendo investigar las diferentes tipologías documentales existentes y la clientela que hace uso de sus servicios, así como el estudio de los notarios como figura fundamental, como depositarios de la fe pública, en la sociedad aragonesa de los siglos XV y XVI.

    The article examines an important unpublished paper, the memorial acts of the notary Joan Abat from Saragossa between 1493 and 1510, preserved in the Historical Archives of Notarial Protocols in Saragossa. We can investigate different types of existing documents and the clients make use of his services, as well as the notarial study as main characters, as custodians of the public faith, in the society in Aragon on 15th and 16th centuries
