La orden antoniana realizó su labor asistencial durante 700 años, entre los siglos XII Y XVIII. Para financiarse, promovió la figura de su patrón como protector de los animales domésticos; su práctica más característica fue el uso de los cerdos que, con su inseparable campanilla al cuello con la cruz tau, eran alimentados por la gente como limosna hacia la orden. Este es el origen de las tres campanillas aquí presentadas.

The antonian order carried out its welfare work 700 years, between the 12th and 18th centuries. To finance themselves, they promoted the figure of their patron saint as the protector of domestic animals; their most characteristic practice was the use of pigs. The pig went, with their inseparable small bell around their necks, with the tau cross and they were fed by the residents of the towns or villages as a type of charity towards the order, this is the origin of the three small bells presented here.

Antoniotarren ordenak 700 urtetan zehar bete zuen bere laguntza-lana, XII. eta XVIII. mendeen artean. Finantzatzeko, bere patroiaren figura sustatu zuen etxe-abereen babesle modura.
