    Duplo R és un programa de dinamització lingüística del Servei de Normalització Lingüística del Consell de Vigo adreçat als joves per tal de promoure entre ells l'ús del gallec. Tot i que la major part de la joventut de Vigo valora el gallec com a positiu i el sap, normalment no l'usa. Duplo R es basa en l'aglutinació de dues propostes musicals ben diferents: regueifa i rap per tal d'aconseguir vincular la tradició amb la modernitat i tenir una concepció del gallec diferent. El gallec s'aprèn i s'utilitza jugant i passant-s'ho bé. S'assoleix, d'aquesta manera, l'objectiu de fomentar la utilització del gallec entre la població juvenil de Vigo.

    Duplo R is a language promotion programme of Vigo City Council’s Linguistic Normalisation Service and its aim is to promote the use of the Galician language among young people. Although most young people in Vigo have a positive attitude towards Galician and know how to speak it, they do not generally use it. Duplo R bases its action on the combination of two clearly distinct forms of music – regueifa and rap – in order link tradition to modernity and establish a different conception of the Galician language. In this way, young people of Vigo learn and use Galician while playing and enjoying themselves. This leads to the achievement of the programme’s goal of fostering the use of Galician among them.
