La influencia de la agenda setting: Análisis comparado del tratamiento del issue “mujer” en la prensa española (2007-2012)

    Se presenta análisis comparado del issue “women” en el Día Internacional de las Mujeres el 8marzo2007 (PSOE) comparándolo con el 8marzo2012 (PP). Los periódicos analizados son: El País, El Mundo, La Razón y ABC. Se focaliza en: 1) Descripción y cuantificación del espacio dedicado y características del mismo, y su correspondiente análisis comparativo; 2) Análisis del tratamiento lingüístico y periodístico del tema; 3) Agenda Setting y 4) Efectos humorísticos. Este análisis comparado con cinco años de diferencia, y bajo dos gobiernos de signo contrario permite ver la influencia que la agenda política tiene sobre la periodística, cuyos efectos actúan de forma distinta en función de a línea ideológica del periódico analizado.

    The present work shows a comparative analysis of the issue“women” in the Women’s International Day2,the 8thMarch, 2007 (PSOE) compared with the 8thMarch, 2012 (PP). This analysis is made on El País,El Mundo, La Razón y ABC, focusing on: 1) description and quantification of the space given by massmedia to the issueas well as their characteristics and the corresponding comparative analysis; 2) analysis of the linguistic and journalistic treatment of the subject; 3) Agenda Setting; 4) and humour effects.This comparative analysis with five years’ distance under two opposite political governments will showthe influence that the political agenda has on the journalistic one, whose effects act in a different way according to the ideological line of the analysed newspaper.
