En la Europa del siglo XX, las fracturas sociales producidas por las guerras civiles han permanecido abiertas y han sido transmitidas a las siguientes generaciones a través de memorias enfrentadas sobre el pasado traumático. A través del análisis histórico de las fases de memoria y olvido de las guerras civiles finlandesa, española y griega, el artículo se centra en los agentes y las políticas de memoria, las narrativas contrapuestas, la memoria de las víctimas y su expresión pública.
El artículo pretende analizar como diferentes sociedades como la finlandesa,la española y la griega, han afrontado sus pasados traumáticos y cómo éstos han sido integradosen sus procesos de reconciliación

In Europe during the Twentieth Century, social divisions produced by civil wars have remainedalive, transmitted to later generations by conflicting memories of the earlier traumatic event. Via an historical analysis of the phases of remembering and forgetting of Finnish, Spanish and Greek civil wars, the article focus on the agents and the politics of memory, the contradictory narratives, the memory of the victims and its public expression.
The article aims to analyse how different societies, such as the Finnish, the Spanish and the Greek, have dealt with their traumatic past and how it has been integrated into their reconciliation processes
