Taking the notion of translatability as the starting point, this article develops reflections on the bonds between translation and literary theory, indicating alternatives for dealing with the problem and presenting a speculative panorama of how, in some literary theory movements throughout the XXth and XXIst centuries provided approaches and contrasts with translation issues. The movements highlighted are: Russian formalism, structuralism and deconstruction, along with the reception and effect theories.

http://dx.doi.org/10.5007/2175-7968.2009v1n23p9A partir da noção de traduzibilidade, este artigo desenvolve reflexões sobre os vínculos entre tradução e teoria literária, indicando alternativas de abordagem do problema e apresentando um panorama especulativo de como em alguns dos movimentos da teoria literária ao longo dos séculos XX e XXI viabilizaram aproximações e contrastes com questões tradutórias. Os movimentos destacados são: o formalismo russo, o estruturalismo e a desconstrução, as teorias da recepção e do efeito.
