Resumen de Santiago Carrillo 1971. Políticas en transición y transferencia carismática

En junio de 1971, el PCE organizó un gran mitin político en las cercanías de París. En él se presentaban ante una masa de militantes, simpatizantes y antifranquistas dos líderes, Dolores Ibárruri (Pasionaria) y Santiago Carrillo, que habían desempeñado un importante papel en la historia de España y que se preparaban para hacerlo en el futuro postfranquista. El encuentro recibió una notable cobertura a través de la prensa y fue ampliamente fotografiado. Un film fue rodado y montado por la Comisión de Cine de Barcelona en colaboración con el colectivo francés Dynadia. El presente texto analiza las distintas dimensiones de este encuentro en relación con la táctica del partido, la lucha contra la Dictadura y, en especial, el proceso de transferencia del carisma entre Pasionaria (un mito viviente del Comunismo) y Carrillo, quien a la sazón ejercía el control orgánico del PCE, pero no era todavía reconocido como líder de masas.

In June 1971, the Spanish Communist Party held a big rally in the outskirts of Paris. It aimed at introducing its leaders to a considerable mass of militants, sympathisers or simply anti-Francoist population living then in Europe. The two leaders who addressed this multitude were Dolores Ibárruri (known as Pasionaria) and Santiago Carrillo. Both had played a key role in the past, especially during the Spanish Civil War and both were planning to do so in the next future. The rally was profusely covered by press and photography; what�s more, a film was shot and edited by a Catalonian film crew along with the French revolutionary association Dynadia. This text analyses the different dimensions at stake in the rally, from the Party tactics perspective, as well as in relation to the Spanish Dictatorship. More specifically it takes into account what might be called transference of charisma from a living myth of Communism, Pasionaria, to the bureaucratic leader, Carrillo.
