    Este artículo pretende responder a una serie de cuestiones vinculadas al patrimonio artístico de la isla de La Gomera y que han sido considerados como colombinos, es decir, relacionados con la estancia en la isla del Almirante en agosto de 1492. En torno a estas cuestiones, mito y realidad se han entremezclado, formando parte del imaginario colectivo de la población. Pretendemos, pues, desmitificar esta idea y señalar qué hay de verdad y cuánto de mito en torno a este patrimonio.

    This article tries to answer a series of questions related to the artistic heritage of the island of La Gomera and what has been considered colombino, this is, related to the stay of the Admiral on the island in August 1492. Around these issues, myth and reality are intertwined, forming part of the collective imagination of the population. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to demystify this idea and to set a line between myth and reality around this heritage.
