  • Resumen
    • The aim of this study was to evaluate the antifungalactivity of Larreatridentata ,onAspergillusflavus , A. niger and A.paraciticus , from the percent inhibition and determining their growth parameters. Extracts wereobtainedbySoxhletusing as solvent 80% ethanol and distilled water. The extracts were tested at concentrations of 50, 100 , 250, 500 and 1000 ppm . The media were inoculated with 2 l of fungal spore suspensions of study. As a positive control potassiumsorbate as 0.3 % and the negative control medium without preservative were used. The systems were incubated for 10 days at 30 ° C ± 2 ° C and the radial growth of the colony was measured every 24 hours .With data growth inhibition percentage and was calculated usingtheprogramDMFitgrowthparameters of each fungus at different growth conditions were obtained. The ethanolextract of Larrea controlledthegrowth of the three fungi while the aqueous extract did not inhibit growth. The ethanol extract showed an inhibitory effect of 43 to 63 % by Aspergillus species.
