Gheorghe Săsărman es el autor de Cuadratura cercului (1975 y 2001), una de las colecciones más interesantes de geoficciones urbanas posmodernas. En las geoficciones, la narración se supedita a la descripción de un espacio que determina esencialmente el tenor del texto. Săsărman extrajo dos ciudades de la colección citada (Sah-Harah y Moebia) y las intercaló en su novela de ciencia ficción 2000 (1982). Al hacerlo, amplió esas geoficciones con elementos narrativos hasta convertirlas en cuentos genuinos, donde las peripecias de unos protagonistas individualizados frente a esas ciudades configuran parábolas del conocimiento y su significado ético, articuladas en torno a ciudades de aire legendario. Completa este trabajo la traducción de ambos textos.

Gheorghe Săsărman is the author of Cuadratura cercului (1975 and 2001), one of the most interesting collections of postmodern urban geofiction. In the genre of geofiction, the story is subordinated to the description of a space that defines essentially the text purport. Săsărman extracted two cities of the above-mentioned collection (Sah-Harah and Moebia) and inserted them in his science fiction novel 2000 (1982). When doing this, he expanded these geofictions with narrative elements which turned them into genuine stories, where the adventures of the individualized characters faced to these cities shape parables on knowledge and its ethical meaning around legendary looking cities. A Spanish translation of both texts completes this work.
