    Ningún ser humano tiene deseo real de envejecer, tampoco hay ningún ser racional capaz de contemplar con ecuanimidad la decadencia gradual de su eficiencia física y deterioro progresivo de su apariencia física. Realizando nuestro análisis del deterioro orgánico, a nivel renal, podemos identificar disminución del filtrado glomerular con consiguiente insuficiencia renal en diferentes grados, incluso pudiendo llegar a insuficiencia renal terminal. Hoy por hoy la bibliografía al respecto es pobre, en este grupo etario; es por ello que la presente investigación evaluara dicha población, desde un primer nivel, realizando una prueba útil, idónea, económica y confiable para realizar screenings masivos en personas que tengan riesgo de desarrollar nefropatías. Se realizó un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo y transversal, en el Centro de Salud, de la localidad de Quime, en la Provincia Inquisivi del Departamento de La Paz, del universo, se calculó 115 habitantes como muestra; durante el primer trimestre de 2010. El 43% de la población femenina tiene algún parametro patológico, sumado a la clínica que presenta infección del tracto urinario con proteinuria del otro 57% de la población aparentemente sana, el 14% sufre de proteinuria asintomatica. Respecto a los hombres, el 43% tiene algún parametro sugerente de infección del tracto urinario, infecciones del tracto urinario + proteinuria, Glucosuria y Glucosuria+proteinuria, del 57% aparentemente sano, 29% presenta proteinuria asintomatica.

    No human being has a real desire to grow old. Nor there is any rational being able to contemplate with equanimity the gradual decline of his physical efficiency and progressive deterioration of their physical appearance. Doing our analysis of organic impairment, in the kidney, we can identify decreased glomerular filtration rate with renal insufficiency therefore different degrees even may reach terminal. Today the literature is poor in this age group, which is why this research wants to evaluate this population, from a first level, performing a useful test, suitable, reliable and economical for mass screenings in people who are at risk develop nephropathy. We performed a descriptive, prospective, cross-sectional research, at Health Center, in the town of Quime on Inquisivi Province, from the Department of La Paz; the universe calculated was 115 people as shown, during the 1st quarter of 2010. The results were: 43% of the female population has a pathological parameter, together with clinical features of urinary tract infection with proteinuria; the other 57% of the healthy population, 14% suffer from asymptomatic proteinuria. For men, 43% have some parameter suggestive of urinary tract infection, urinary tract infection+ proteinuria, glucosuria and proteinuria + glucosuria, apparently healthy 57%, 29% have asymptomatic proteinuria.
