En aquest estudi volem mostrar com algunes biblioteques, contretament les universitàries, estan gestionant una nova realitat virtual, la que suposa la digitalització dels seus fons bibliogràfics antics i l'accessibilitat que ofereixen a aquests documents a través d'Internet.
Les biblioteques seleccionades per aquest treball són: la Biblioteca de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, la Biblioteca de la Universitat de Barcelona i la Bibliothèque de la Sorbonne Universités de Paris, totes elles referents per la seva col·lecció de patrimoni bibliogràfic. Analitzarem i compararem les diferents estratègies que segueixen aquestes institucions per dur a terme la gestió dels seus fons patrimonials. Així com tractarem el suport que reben aquestes dels organismes que les representen i com l'apliquen en els seus plans de treball.

In this study we show how some libraries, concretely the academic ones, are managing a new virtual reality, which is the oldest digital library collections and their accessibility offered to these documents via the Internet. The libraries selected for this work are: the Library of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, the Library of the Universidad de Barcelona and the Bibliothèque de la Sorbonne University of Paris, all relating to the collection of bibliographic heritage. The different strategies that these institutions continue to carry out the management of its assets are analyzed and compared. The support they receive from these organizations that represent and how they apply in their work plans will be discussed as well.
