Resumen de El Magisterio de la provincia de Las Palmas en torno a 1936: Relación de maestros ejeercientes y listas de depurados por el franquismos

Este artículo aporta a la investigación histórica de Canarias la relación de los maestros y maestras que ejercían el magisterio en la provincia de Las Palmas en torno a 1936, a partir del decreto n.º 273 del Ministerio de Instrucción Pública y Bellas Artes, firmado por el presidente Manuel Azaña y el ministro Jesús Hernández Tomás. También incluye, en segundo lugar, el listado nominal de los maestros depurados en la provincia de _Las Palmas, que hemos elaborado a partir de los datos existentes en los archivos canarios y peninsulares y en los boletines oficiales, nacional y provip.cial, resultado de una investigación más amplia que se ha publicado recientemente. En tercer lugar se incorpora la relación de maestros pertenecientes a la Federación Española de Trabajadores· de la Enseñanza, de la Unión General de Trabajaqores, y la de los maestros encarcelados por un periodo más o menos largo de tiempo. El último documento, que tiene que ver con los maestros desaparecidos y fusilados en Canarias, es de nuestra propia elaboración a partir de los datos dados a conocer por la Asociación de la Memoria Histórica de Arucas, Gran Canaria. Finalmente, se adjunta bibliografia seleccionada en torno a la depuración del Magisterio en España y acerca de la situación en Canarias en las fechas de la Guerra Civil, que pueden servir para adentrarse en el doble contexto imprescindible, la represión educativa nacional, sistemática y generalizada, y la dimensión histórica en la que tuvieron lugar tales hechos.

This article contributes to the historical research of Canaries the relation of the teachers who were exercising the teaching in the province of Las Palmas around 1936, from the Decree n º 273 ofthe Department of Public Instruction and Fine Arts, signed by the president Manuel Azaña and the mi- ' nister Jesús Hemández Tomás. Also it includes, secondly, the nominal list of the teachers purified in the province of Las Palmas, which we have elaborated from the existing information in the Canary and peninsular files and in the official bulletins, nationally and provincial, result of an research more wide that it has published recen ti y. Thirdly there joins the relation of teachers belonging tó the Workers' Spanish Federation of the Education, of the Union The relation ofteachers belonging to the Workers' Spanish Federation ofthe Education, of the General Trade Union of Workers, and that of the teachers imprisoned by a more or less long period of time. The last document, which it has to see with the .teachers missing and shot in Canaries, is of our own elaboration from the information announced by the Association of Arucas 's Historical Memory, Great Canary. Finally, attached bibliography selected concerning the purification ofthe Teaching in Spain and it brings Canaries over ofthe situation in the dates ofthe Civil War, which they can serve to enter the double indispensable context, the educational national, systematic and widespread repression, and the historical dimension in which such facts took place.
