Resumen de Internet como vía de actualización de la información para profesionales de atención primaria
The healthcare professional confronts in numerous occasions doubts about his or her daily clinical practice. The attainment of answers and the rapid and actualized search for information, are the principal objectives to reach, especially if the disposed time is scarce. At the present time, and thanks to the ample expansion of personal computers and the possibility of access to the Internet, we are offered with a comfortable and agile tool for searching in pharmacotherapeutical and clinical information. Before the availability of Internet, every possible inquiry related to clinical matters has to be broached through the consulting of biomedical journals, books, subscriptions to articles or to researches in CD-Rom format, etc. However, these sources of information carried implicitly their expiration dates that correspond to all published materials. The appearance of Internet, allows us to immediately actualize the relevant information that may be launched, from every corner of the world and consulted by all professionals with access to navigating the Internet. However, not all the information available on Internet presents an adequate level of scientific evidence. The purpose of this work is to select the sources and addresses that offer medical results based upon the evidence and that allow to find, in an efficient way, the answers to any consultation in the field of medicine and healthcare
