    El gran avance de la ciencia médica y la aparición de la biotecnología han traído como consecuencia la desvinculación entre sexualidad y reproducción. Desde de la aparición de la pastilla anticonceptiva hasta nuestros días, los avances biotecnológicos han permitido, cada vez más, desvincular el acto sexual de la reproducción humana.

    Actualmente, procedimientos como la inseminación artificial o la fecundación in vitro (FIV) son cada día más comunes, y en un futuro quizá no tan lejano la clonación de seres humanos traerá profundos cambios en el binomio sexualidad-reproducción.

    Estos temas y sus posibles implicaciones son el objeto de estudio del presente trabajo.

    The breakthrough of medical science and the emergence of biotechnology have resulted on the dissociation between sexuality and reproduction. Since the advent of the contraceptive pill until today, the biotechnological advances have increasingly allowed to untie the sexual act from human reproduction.

    At the moment, procedures like artificial insemination or the in vitro fertilization are becoming more and more common and in a not too distant future, the cloning of human beings will bring deep changes in the relationship of sexuality and reproduction.

    These issues and their possible implications are the subject of study in the present work.
