  • Resumen
    • Jhe Blue Jit Parus caeruleus and Crested Jit Parus cristatus usually breed in holes in trees or walls, or in nest-boxes. Jhis note describes a Blue Jit nest on a roof, under a moved tile, and a Crested Tit nest in a hole in the pillar of a meta1 structure. In both cases the parents were seen feeding the chicks. Jhe use of these unusual sites could be related to a scarcity of nest-sites available, and also to the dominance of other species, such as the Great Jit, that occupy the best sites for breeding
