Resumen de A distinción entre conxuncións e conectores discursivos e a súa manifestación fraseolóxica

Os problemas terminolóxicos conteñen a miúdo problemas de fondo. Con esta idea, o propósito do artigo é examinar as causas lingüísticas e metalingüísticas da confusión que rodea as categorías da conxunción e os conectores discursivos (e os seus correlatos fraseolóxicos), incrementada tras a irrupción dos segundos na bibliografía especializada. Sobre este exame, proponse unha caracterización destas dúas clases de palabras, para diferencialas e tamén para sinalar as súas zonas de indistinción. A oposición entre conxunción e conector discursivo crúzase coa existente entre palabra e unidade fraseolóxica, pois moitos dos conectores e algunhas conxuncións son locucións. Aquí radica unha clave para entender o significado procedemental destas unidades

Terminological disputes often contain underlying problems. With this in mind, the aim of this paper is to examine the linguistic and metalinguistic causes of confusion around conjunction categories and discourse connectives –as well as their phrasal counterparts. Such confusion has increased since the latter burst into specialised bibliography. In examining the mentioned causes, both parts of speech are characterised in order to distinguish them and to identify coinciding areas. The opposition between conjunction and discourse connective intersects with that between word and idiom, since many connectives and some conjunctions are in fact idioms. Here lies a key to understand the procedural meaning of these units.
