    La proliferación de avances tecnológicos en telefonía móvil (smartphones), combinado con la identificación de los cuidados avalados por la mejor evidencia científica disponible en prevención y tratamiento de las úlceras por presión, posibilitan que todo este conocimiento se pueda acercar a los profesionales de una manera sencilla e inmediata.

    GuiaUPP es la primera aplicación móvil (App), que aporta toda la información necesaria a los profesionales de enfermería para poder abordar la problemática relacionada con el deterioro de la integridad cutánea y tisular y riesgo de padecerlo, así como las posibilidades de valoración, abordaje y opciones de tratamiento, de una manera ágil e interactiva, a pie de cama. De momento solo está desarrollada para entornos basados en el sistema operativo IOS de Apple. Cuenta ya con más de 5000 descargas a nivel mundial y en estos momentos está en proceso de valoración para ser considerada una aplicación con distintivo "AppSaludable" por la Agencia de Calidad Sanitaria de Andalucía.

    GuideUPP is the first mobile application (App), which provides all the necessary information to the nursing professionals in order to tackle the problems associated with the deterioration of the skin and tissue integrity and risk of suffering, as well as the possibilities of valuation, approach and treatment options, in a way agile and interactive, to foot of the bed. At the moment is only developed for environments based on the IOS operating system of Apple. Already has more than 5000 downloads at the global level and is currently in process of evaluation to be considered an application with a distinctive "HealthyApp" by the Agency of Sanitary Quality of Andalusia.
