Resumen de Noções sobre segregação e tecnologias de informação e comunicação

This paper aims to accomplish some thoughts about the concept of segregation under the terms of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), particularly the Internet.
From the relationship between the theoretical framework, the analysis using secondary data and impressions collected by research conducted on web, seeks to understand the different dimensions of segregation on the Internet, considered here as “offline” (outside the internet, that is, directly related to the digital divide) and “online” (inside the Internet, analyzed from the standpoint of social networking sites).

Este artigo realiza algumas reflexões sobre a noção de segregação sob o ponto de vista das Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação (TICs), principalmente a Internet. A partir da articulação entre o referencial teórico, da análise de dados secundários e das impressões colhidas através de pesquisa realizada na própria rede, busca-se compreender as diferentes dimensões da segregação na Internet, consideradas aqui como “offline” (fora da Internet, ou seja, diretamente relacionada com a exclusão digital) e “online” (dentro da Internet, analisada sob o enfoque das redes sociais na Internet).
