    El teatro contemporáneo español se distingue por una multiplicidad de formas estructurales y semióticas; entre sus diferentes caras, se halla el teatro breve o mínimo, el cual posee una larga tradición literaria; interesa revisar las categorías con las que se le ha catalogado así como los elementos que lo distinguen, con el interés de exponer los rasgos de hipertextualidad que lo caracterizan en los albores del siglo XXI, en donde destaca lo diverso como rasgo central del arte.

    The contemporary Spanish theater is distinguished for a diversity of structural forms and semiotics, between its different faces, it is found the short or minimal theater, which possess a large literary tradition; it is interesting to review the categories in which it has been categorized just like its elements that distinguish it, with the interest of exposing the hipertextuality features that categorize it at the dawn of the XXI century, in which is pointed out the diversity as the main feature in art.
