    El debate acerca de la localización en la historia de la literatura de los autores exiliados de 1939 concierne igualmente a España como a México. En el contexto español aún se discute si deben integrarse como un grupo aislado, delimitado y paralelo o si se debe reformular el canon; en el mexicano, se han incorporado en algunos trabajos de referencia y antologías, pero en la historia literaria todavía no se ha establecido cuál es su posición. Al rastrear y describir los distintos criterios historiográficos (en compilaciones, manuales y estudios) que definen la elaboración de las historias de la literatura y la construcción del escenario cultural, este trabajo muestra el difícil lugar del exilio español de 1939 dentro de la literatura mexicana.

    The debate en the position of the history of the literature of authors exiled in 1939 concerns both Spain and Mexico. In the Spanish context, there is still debate on whether these authors should be considered an isolated, delimited, parallel group or whether the canon should be reformulated. In the Mexican context, they have been incorporated into certain reference works and anthologies but their position in literary history has yet to be determined. By tracking and describing the various historiographic criteria (in compilations, manuals and studies) that define the elaboration of the stories in literature and the construction of the cultural setting, this study reveals the awkward position of the Spanish exile of 1939 within Mexican literature.
