• Goal: Description of the content in the vertical healthcare portals that depend on the most-visited Spanish horizontal portals on the Internet. Study type: Transversal descriptive. Methods: There have been selected the vertical healthcare portals dependent upon the most-visited Spanish horizontal portals during the month of September 2000 and there have been studied a series of cybermetric and information quality variables through a questionnaire from the project Quality Medical Webs (QMW). Results: The average score according to the QMW test was 52.82 ± 31.88 with a range between 75.5 and 28.5. From the 10 portals evaluated, 6 score above 50.
