In these schist rocks¡ we haye found the associationgarnet (XFe=O.89-0.94J, chloritoid (XMg=O.12-0.22J, chlorité (Xfv/g=O.40-0.45)¡ biotité (XfVtg=O.3 7) and fetigite (5i=3.23-3.44 a.p .. u.) which gro(,ysin the KFMA5H systemwith a ferrous tenderícy. The métaniorphic peak has beeri estirnáted:'áround 12 Kbar irí pressure and 5000C in temperatureaccbrding td the garnet(XFe=O.94) + fengitd5i=3.44 a.p:u) association and the Chloritoid + Biotite= Garnet + Fengite equilibritJ/T)' The secondary mineral assótiation: chlbritoid, biotite, chlbrite and fengite (5i;"'3.17-3.23) indicates a pressure drop accompatiiéd by cool;ng duriríg the post~peak path. The thermobarometrit data show that these Pa/aeozoic rocK$. nave suffereda high-pressure low-temperature metaniorphism in coritrast witn the c/assic estimations ofp-T coriditibns of schist rocks belbnging to Filali units (Pálaeozoic ih agé; P=5-7 Kbar y T =550-7000C).We pro(Josethat Benzou schist rocks are thelower part of tne Br=niMza/a unit and they cbuld be transitional levéis to the metapelite foimations represerited ih the Filali units. Similar transitional metápelite rock;;
