A lo largo de la historia, las mujeres han hecho ciencia. Este artículo mostrará las aportaciones que las mujeres han realizado en este campo, destacando tanto sus contribuciones como las dificultades encontradas para hacer su trabajo. También se destacará que, aunque haya ahora un gran número de mujeres que trabajan en la ciencia, hay pocas que logran puestos de responsabilidad. Como mujer que trabaja en la ciencia, defiendo el papel humanista de esta disciplina y la necesidad de que la sociedad reconozca su papel.

Throughout history, women have made science. This paper will show the contributions women have made in this field, highlighting both their contributions and the difficulties encountered to do their job. I will also try to highlight that, although there are now a large number of women working in science, there are few who manage to attain positions of responsibility in this area. As a woman working in science, I defend the humanistic role of this area and the need that the society becomes aware of its role.
