    Hay diversos estudios sobre las adaptaciones de la literatura al cine y viceversa, sobre la teoría de esas adaptaciones, sobre películas o libros concretos que han pasado por este proceso, pero no son muy abundantes las correspondientes a un escritor en concreto. En este caso tratamos de analizar la posición de Houellebecq como autor de novelas que han pasado por el proceso de adaptación a la gran pantalla y sus resultados.

    La hipótesis que plantea este trabajo establece que el hecho de que Michel Houellebecq no intervenga en el proceso de adaptación de sus propias novelas favorece la obtención de una obra cinematográfica autónoma que refleje la axiología del autor. La conclusión es la confirmación de nuestra hipótesis: cuando Houellebecq no ha intervenido en el proceso de adaptación de sus novelas se ha conseguido una obra cinematográfica autónoma sin dejar de transmitir al espectador la propia axiología del autor francés

    There are diverse studies on the adjustments of the literature to the cinema and vice versa, on the theory of these adjustments, on movies or concrete books that have happened for this process, but the correspondents are not very abundant to a writer in concretly. In this case we try to analyze Houellebecq's position as author of novels that have happened for the process of adjustment to the great screen and his results. The hypothesis that raises this work establishes that the fact that Michel Houellebecq does not intervene in the process of adjustment of his own novels it favors the obtaining of an autonomous films that reflects the axiology of the author. The conclusion is the confirmation of our hypothesis: when Houellebecq has not intervened in the process of adjustment of his novels an autonomous films have been obtained without stopping transmitting to the spectator the own axiology of the French author
